2. Visiting the website

When you visit letterbe.de, our server necessarily processes your IP address and the details your browser sends with every request (for example the requested address, browser type and preferred language). This is the only way it can deliver the page to you. The connection is encrypted via HTTPS.

We do not store this information: access logs are switched off on our server, and the details are discarded once the page has been delivered. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a working and secure website.

3. Hosting

The server of this website is operated by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS provides the data centre and technology and processes data only on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR).

4. No cookies, settings only in your browser

We set no cookies. If you switch on “Dark mode” or “Large text” yourself, your browser remembers this choice in your device's local storage (localStorage). It is not sent to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. This is strictly necessary for the function you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

5. No analytics, no third-party content

We use no analytics or advertising services and no social media plugins. Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on our own server; no data is transferred to third parties when you visit. If you follow a link to another website, that website's privacy policy applies.

6. When you write to us or call

If you email or call us, we process your contact details and your request in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns the app or a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We receive emails via IONOS SE; incoming emails are forwarded to a mailbox at Google Ireland Limited (Gmail). Data may also be processed in the USA; according to Google, such transfers are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) and on standard contractual clauses. We delete your message once it has been dealt with, unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: you may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

We answer questions at info@peppermediavision.de. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the authority where you live or the one responsible for us: Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland, Fritz-Dobisch-Straße 12, 66111 Saarbrücken, Germany.

8. Changes

If the website or the legal situation changes, we will update this notice. The version published here applies.
